What You'll Need

How to Apply

  1. Register with NABP ▾
    Create an NABP e-Profile and register for the NAPLEX and Kansas MPJE examinations.

    Complete and submit Form LA-01E (Pharmacist by Exam) along with the required fee ($157).
  3. Order Fingerprint Card ▾
    Request an official FD-258 fingerprint card from the Board if you do not have one.
  4. Complete Background Check ▾
    Submit Form S-100 (KBI/FBI Background Check) and your completed fingerprint card to the Board.
  5. Receive Authorization to Test (ATT) ▾
    Once the Board approves your application, you will receive an ATT from NABP to schedule your exams.
  6. Pass Examinations ▾
    Successfully pass both the NAPLEX and the Kansas MPJE.

Transfer License

Requirements ▾
Pharmacists licensed in another state can often apply via license transfer (reciprocity) through the NABP, though most states still require passing their specific MPJE.

    Submit an application for the Electronic Licensure Transfer Program (eLTP) through NABP.
