How to Apply
Complete Education and Clinical Hours
▾
Earn a Master's degree from a CAA-accredited program and complete at least 400 clock hours of supervised clinical practicum.
Pass the Praxis Exam
▾
Register for and pass the Praxis Speech-Language Pathology exam (test code 5331) with a minimum score of 162.
Register for Praxis
Complete Clinical Fellowship (CF)
▾
Complete a supervised professional experience (Clinical Fellowship) of at least 36 weeks (1,260 hours). If you are currently in your CF, you may apply for a Provisional License.
Create a Health Professions Licensing Portal Account

Register for an account on the official Massachusetts Health Professions Licensing Portal to start your application.
Submit Application and CORI Form

Complete the online application and upload the required notarized CORI Acknowledgment Form for a background check.
