Slow Downs

Premature Fingerprinting
Getting fingerprinted before receiving the Application Confirmation letter and Customer ID will result in the prints not being linked to your file.
Third-Party Document Delivery
Transcripts, exam scores, and license verifications must come directly from the source (school, ETS, or other state boards). Documents submitted by the applicant are not accepted.
Incomplete Training
Failure to complete the specific Michigan requirements for Human Trafficking and Implicit Bias training will stall the final issuance of the license.

Questions

Licensees must complete 20 hours of continuing professional development every 2 years, including 1 hour in pain management and 2 hours of implicit bias training.
Can I practice while my application is pending?
