What You'll Need
- Jurisprudence Exam Certificate — Proof of passing the Texas Jurisprudence Exam within the last 12 months. Exam Portal
- Official Doctoral Transcripts — Original or certified copies of academic transcripts showing the conferred AuD degree.
- Praxis Score Report — Official scores from the national PRAXIS exam administered by ETS (exempt if ASHA/ABA certified). ETS Praxis
- ASHA CCC-A or ABA Certification — Proof of current certification if using it to waive the Praxis score requirement.
How to Apply

Complete the Jurisprudence Exam ▾All applicants must pass the Texas Jurisprudence Exam before submitting their application. The certificate must not be more than 12 months old at the time of application.
Take Jurisprudence Exam -
Submit Online Application ▾Create an account on the TDLR Online Licensing System and submit the Audiologist application.

Pay Application Fee ▾Pay the non-refundable $150 application fee through the online portal.

Submit Official Transcripts ▾Provide official transcripts showing a doctoral degree in audiology. Electronic transcripts should be sent directly from the university to cs.transcript@tdlr.texas.gov.

Provide Exam Scores or Certification ▾Submit Praxis exam scores or proof of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) or ABA Certification.
