Slow Downs

Applying Before Passing MPJE
Utah requires applicants to pass the MPJE before the application is submitted. Applying early will result in an incomplete status.
Poor Fingerprint Quality
Smudged or incomplete fingerprint cards are frequently rejected by the FBI/BCI, requiring a re-submission and delaying the license by weeks.
Missing Transcripts
DOPL requires transcripts to be sent directly from the institution. Hand-carried or student-uploaded copies are not accepted.
