Slow Downs

Incomplete Fingerprint Cards
Fingerprints that are smudged or missing required data fields will be rejected by DCI/FBI, requiring a re-submission and delaying the license by weeks.
Missing Third-Party Verifications
The Board cannot issue a license until official verifications from the NBRC and other state boards are received directly from those entities.
Incorrect Fee Payment
Failure to include the $100 fee or submitting it in an unaccepted format (like a personal check if not allowed, though money orders are preferred) will halt processing.
